Sun 1pm 3/9 visit

We were told to get prepared for this-but yesterday was so good that we were thrown for a little loop this morning. Mary Jo is messing with us. But we know her sweetness is going to return this afternoon. The original bolt on right forehead was having technical difficulties so they had to move to left side and shave her head a little and she is even a little more beautiful today :-) Sorry, I just got interrupted by an orange chiffon pie delivery. And we are tearing up over the delivery from four 8 or 9 year old ish girls in neighborhood who brought a ziploc baggie that had one lifesaver in it, a pecan in its shell and a dum dum pop with a note that says
"turn that frown upside down". I will defer interpretation of the 3 items.
She still is more sedated now and on ventilator and pressures a little more higher. They are doing another CAT scan and an MRI after our 1pm visit. We are just thrilled we could get in there to see her, whisper to her and love on her. We know she will rebound again. Cathetar was placed on her head to immediately drain pressure/fluids. If she stays stable with all this-they need to sit her up in bed/chair because of concern for pneumonia. Her neck still has brace on it because they have not been able to do MRI to rule out neck issues. They are due to refit her back brace also. We are looking forward to the 5pm visit and then prayer vigil after that.
Love, Cindy

Dear MJ, Davey, Amie, Brian & Family, Although we are far away, all of you have been tucked in our prayers from day one. Having just been in Memphis and seeing MJ, Davey, and Amie and being on the receiving end of some great hugs and kisses, makes this all the more heart wrenching. We wish we could be there with you to help out in some way - with food, hugs, or with whatever is needed. The distance makes it tough. Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers each and every day. MJ, we look forward to when you are fully recovered and you and Davey can venture out here to the mountains - Davey and I can literally take a hike and you and LLP can hit the spa!
We're holding you in the light,

Much love, Laurie & Dan

MJ and family- please know that you have been in our thoughts and prayers since Barbara told us on Friday. We added you to our church prayer list. We know God can heal completely and that is what we are asking Him to do for you.

You are the most positive person, always helpful to others and always with a smile.

Thanks for the updates, it helps us stay connected.

Much love, David and Pat Rosser & Taylor

Cynthia,
This site is so helpful and allows us to target our prayers for MJ, you, and your big, wonderful family. When she's ready, be sure to laugh with MJ - you all do it best! We miss you, but don't want you back in Douglasville until your ready. Much love to all of you,
Emily

Just wanted to let you know my prayers are with MJ and each of you. Grandma always said if we put our problems in God's hands he will take care of them. Thanks for the updates.

Love, Jamie

Thanks to everyone who came to the prayer gathering tonight @ IC. It just goes to show you how much MJ is loved by so many people. Davey we missed you, but totally understand how hard this has been on you, Aimee & Brian. Cindy did a wonderful job speaking to the crowd and we all appreciated the recent update. Please know that we are only a phone call away. We love you and you all remain in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Gina & Tommy
